Corps Exquis
A printmaking game I co-created with Dominique Desbiens.
Based on the classic parlor game Cadavre Exquis (“Exquisite Corpse”), the idea is simple: choose from a set of stamps featuring different body parts—head, torso, arms & legs—then print them to mix & match, creating your own unique character. The possibilities are endless!
It was first presented as part of Nuit Blanche 2024 in collaboration with Atelier Circulaire & Arprim. The event took place in the historic Belgo Building in downtown Montréal. With the help of volunteers stationed at each printing table, we printed bodies for over 700 participants over the course of the evening.

In the following months, we were contacted by the Musée des beaux-arts de Sherbrooke, who commissioned us to rent the game as part of their spring/summer cultural programming. At that point, we went back to the drawing board to develop a more autonomous & user-friendly version of Corps Exquis. I redesigned the stations, as well as a mobile storage container, to meet this goal while elevating the overall presentation of the game.

Then in the autumn, we developed Mini Corps Exquis, an abbreviated, miniature version of the original game. We reduced the setup from six body-part stations down to three, and introduced an accessories station at the end in place of the previous logo stamp station. This version was presented at the annual Rentrée de Gaspé art showcase in the Mile End, where several hundred visitors took part over the course of the evening.
